Another part of our preparation for summer camp is our Trail Clearing Retreat. One of our most popular events is horseback riding. Kids and adults alike enjoy seeing God’s scenery from the back of a horse. We have been blessed with a lot of acreage that we can trail ride on, with so much mileage in the woods it is no wonder there is always trail to clear. We will spend this Saturday out on the trails making sure they are cleared and safe for campers in the summer! The whole family can get involved in the action this weekend!

     This is a perfect opportunity to pull out that chainsaw that hasn’t been used in a while. Dust off the clippers, handsaws, etc.. Maybe it is time to get the four-wheeler or side by side out and take people up into the woods. Rest assured we eat well during this busy retreat. Both days we will be encouraged by a devotional. A flexible schedule and jobs that fit individual skills are some of what make this retreat a favorite. Besides, who doesn’t want to learn how to use a chainsaw and bring down trees that are blocking the trail?
